Message from Miss Burrows - 2nd November 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are delighted to welcome all of our pupils back after the half-term break. The weather has certainly turned and we can be in no doubt that the days are getting colder and darker.
This week we are all anticipating the start of a national lockdown from Thursday 5th November. Over the weekend a series of restrictions were announced and it is understandable that many of us will be anxious about Covid-19 and the current situation. However, school will remain fully open, in line with government instructions and you should send your children to school as normal, unless told otherwise. Should the situation change as the weeks unfold, we will inform you immediately but at present, there are no indications that schools will close as they did in March.
I will be writing to you later this week with a more detailed update on where we are with the pandemic and will also share some reminders about uniform, contacting school and procedures for reporting an absence.
As we head into the colder months in these strange times, please be assured that we will continue to work hard in school to keep everyone as safe as possible.
