Our highly professional staff are dedicated to ensuring that every student fulfils their God given potential, committed to the pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning throughout the curriculum

I really appreciate the fact that I am trusted as a teacher to teach my classes the best way that I see fit in as much as this education system allows. This freedom gives me the space that I need to develop student’s literacy, an important component of my subject, and to raise aspiration in whatever possible e.g. conversations about university with year 8 students. I appreciate that I do not work in an environment where I am micromanaged and ticking boxes at the expense of the bigger picture.

What we are good at:

Transition from primary school

Links with feeder schools, community and other Catholic schools

Extra-curricular opportunities

Leading Maths and English departments

The continued success of the DofE has been a real plus for the pupils involved.
