EXAMINATION SUCCESS AT ARCHBISHOP ILSLEY

YEAR 13

Congratulations to our Y13 and Y11 students on their examination results. We are delighted with the success of many of our students and wish them well in their next steps.

We would like to congratulate all our University students whether they are going to Birmingham, Coventry, Edinburgh, Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham, Plymouth, Warwick or the dreaming spires of Oxford University. You have completed the new and more challenging reformed A Levels this year and collected a well-deserved set of results.

To the students who excel in our Sixth Form, but don’t necessarily achieve the top grades; you have done us proud, have worked hard and made significant progress, often exceeding our high expectations. Good luck in your careers and God bless you all.

We are especially proud of the students who achieved highest grades at Post 16. These students are:

Cormac Healy: achieved 3 A* grades and a place at Nottingham University

Patryk Imielski: achieved A A A and a place at Oxford University

Liam Ivory: achieved A* A B and a place at Edinburgh University

Reuben Walcott: achieved A* A A and a place at Manchester University

Hassan Kashif: achieved A A B and a place at Birmingham University

Brandon Walsh: achieved A A B and a place at Coventry University

Sophie Owen: achieved 3 Distinction* grades and a place at Wolverhampton University

YEAR 11

Our Y11 students have had a very successful summer and we are very proud of their achievements.

In English 75% of students entered achieved a grade 4 or higher. 21 students achieved a grade 7 or above.

In Mathematics 70% of students entered achieved a grade 4 or higher. 24 students achieved a grade 7 or above.

Congratulations to our Y11 students and we look forward to welcoming many of you back into our Sixth Form. For those of you continuing your studies elsewhere or seeking employment, we wish you the very best.
