Key information for the start of term

We are looking forward to welcoming our pupils back to school next week.

Before term begins, please check that you have purchased the correct items of school uniform for your child. The policy is on the website but please get in touch if you have any questions.

Girls are not permitted to wear any type of socks if they choose to wear a skirt and boys must wear mid or dark grey trousers (not black).

The strips for the girls’ skirts arrived during the school holidays and will be distributed during the first week of term. The strip should be attached to the centre of the waistband at the front of the skirt no later than Monday 10th September.

Years, 7, 10 and the sixth form return to school on Tuesday 4th September. All other year groups return on Wednesday 5th September. Please note that the school gates close at 8.40 a.m. to ensure a prompt start to the day. I would advise all parents and carers to ensure that their child leaves home early enough to be on time for the start of the school day.

If you bring your child to school by car, please observe the parking regulations and do not park on the zig zag lines outside the school gates. Traffic becomes very congested on Victoria Road at the start and end of the school day and parking sensibly helps with the flow of traffic. There is no parking on the school site and you will not be able to drop off and/or collect your child on the school premises.
