Year 10 Business Students Educational Programme

Congratulations to the following Year 10 students who have been selected to attend an Educational Programme with PwC at their Birmingham Office, the students will continue this for a period of 5 days throughout a 2 year academic period, where they will learn to develop key skills needed in the workplace, improving their confidence, talk with PwC employees from a range of departments such as Tax, Assurance, Consulting, Technology and Legal to name but a few. This opportunity will open avenues for our students to practice their presentation skills, interview techniques and introduces them to the professional business world.

Students will also learn about jobs and apprenticeship opportunities open to them after school/college with PwC!

PwC staff spoke very highly of our students saying that they were very impressed with the mature behaviour and professional conduct Year 10 students displayed throughout the day. In particular, one student left a lasting impression with one of the Senior Partners of PwC, where he asked him to start working at the office immediately, so watch this space!

Well done Year 10’s for participating in this fantastic opportunity, you are a real credit to the Business Studies Department and to Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School!
