Dear students and parents/carers.
We hope that you are all well and beginning to see some sense of normality on the horizon during this challenging period.
The Centre Assessed Grades submitted by school are now with the exam boards going through a process of statistical standardisation. Attached to this letter is some further information about how GCSE and A level grades will be awarded this year.
The arrangements for collecting exam results are:
Year 13 students can collect their results on 13th August between 9.00am – 12.00pm from the sports hall. Mr El’Habid will be available to offer support for any students in need of advice regarding their next steps.
Year 11 students can collect their results on 20th August between 9.00am and 12.00pm from the sports hall.
Enrolment for joining Archbishop Ilsley Sixth Form will take place in the main hall.
Only students can collect their results from school. Unfortunately, parents/carers or other family members will not be allowed on site. Any results that are not collected from school at the allocated times will be posted home by 1st class mail to the student.
Textbooks or revision guides which should be returned to school can be left on the tables provided.
To maintain the safety of students and staff, when collecting your results please follow the directions from members of staff. Measures will be put in place to ensure social distancing and please use the hand sanitising stations. Should you or any member of your family be displaying any symptoms for COVID-19, please do not collect your results from school.
Our careers advisor, Melanie Williams will be in touch from 21st August to offer support for students with their next steps. If you would like Melanie to contact you urgently, then please let the school know and we can arrange this.
