The staff and governors of Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School, as well as the CEO/CSEL and Board of Directors of the St Teresa of Calcutta MAC, would like to congratulate Year 11 pupils on their GCSE results.
Thank you also to our staff, who were in the hall today in their droves, for coming in to support our pupils as they received their results. It is indicative of the bond and close relationships between pupils and staff that exist at Archbishop Ilsley.
Highlights include
The percentage of pupils achieving 5s in both Maths and English went up by 4%;
15% of grades were at 7+ in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Spanish;
The Product Design Department continues to be one of the best in Birmingham with huge numbers taking this option subject; over a fifth of pupils achieved an A and A* and 67% achieved at least a grade 5.
Admissions for Sixth Form are up 38%. If you are reading this and haven’t finalised your choice for September, why not consider joining us?
