Yesterday evening the government issued new advice regarding Corona Virus.
In line with government recommendations we are now asking all parents to adhere to the advice that if someone in the household has any symptoms including a continuous cough, temperature or other Corona Virus symptoms then everyone in the household should self-isolate for 14 days.
I must also inform you that if staffing levels continue to decline due to staff self-isolating, it is likely that I will need to send some year groups home later this week. I cannot staff the school safely if I have significant numbers of staff who are not able to come to school. I will update you on a daily basis.
Could I please urge parents and carers to be patient with us as we continue to adapt to the ever changing situation. This is a very stressful situation for all of us but please be assured we are doing our very best to keep things as normal as possible in school. I will be asking staff to upload work and resources onto Google classroom as soon as possible, but this will take some time as staff are currently covering colleagues who are self-isolating.
