Covid Testing Information - Letter from Miss Burrows 09th March 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are now in the process of welcoming our pupils back into school and it is an absolute joy to hear our classrooms and corridors come alive again with the sound of learning, pupil chatter and laughter.

Lateral flow testing is underway and I want to thank your children for how they have approached this. They have been calm, sensible and fully co-operative and a real credit to you as parents and carers.

If you did not submit a consent form for your child to be tested, you have one final opportunity to do this for the next round of testing which starts next week. A message has been sent to those parents and carers who did not submit a consent form previously and this window will close at 12 pm on Thursday 11th March. We will not be able to accept any more consent forms after this deadline as we have to pre register the pupils for testing and ensure we have the right levels of staffing. Please be aware that this is the final opportunity for you to consent for your child to have a lateral flow test in school.

If you provided consent for the first round of testing before the original deadline you do not need to submit another form for the next round of testing.

By Monday 15th March we anticipate being fully operational again with all year groups in school. Please check the letter I sent out last week for more information on how school will be operating and expectations for pupils.

God Bless

Miss Burrows
