Dear Year 13

Dear Y13,

I am so sorry that the start of your final year at Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School has been disrupted. We expected that we would have to send some pupils home at some point this term, but we were hoping it would not happen so quickly. We are devastated for you and hope that this will be the only time this happens this year.

Your teachers are uploading your lessons to Google Classrooms and you will be able to contact them through Google Classrooms to ask any questions or seek assistance. If any of you do not have access to a laptop or computer at home, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to help you.

Following confirmation from Public Health England that we have followed the advice correctly, you must now self-isolate at home until Monday 21st September. If you develop any Covid-19 symptoms during this time, please book a test and inform us when you have the result. You only need to book a test if you develop symptoms. If you have younger brothers or sisters in school they can continue to attend school as normal unless they or anyone else in your household develops symptoms.

You are able to return to school as normal on Monday 21st September and we cannot wait to see you. I hope you all remain safe and well; you know where we are if you need anything.

God Bless

Miss H Burrows Mr El’Habid
