Guidance for Parents and Carers September 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are looking forward to welcoming your children back to school this week. It has been too long an absence and we are excited for everyone to return.

As a school we have had to make some changes to ensure that school is as safe as possible for staff and pupils and the document at the bottom of this page explains the changes we have made and what the expectations are for pupils and parents. The document explains our stance on face coverings, changes to the school day, additional hygiene measures and how pupils will enter and leave school.Parents and pupils should read this document as we start to welcome everyone back into school.

Guidance from the government can change very quickly and we will do our very best to keep you updated if anything does change.

We believe that children returning to school is in their best interests and fully support re-opening our doors to all of our wonderful pupils.

All pupils should return in full school uniform and I would remind parents and carers that any false eyelashes, false nails and additional piercings beyond what is permitted must be removed before term begins. The uniform policy is published on the school website if you need further information.

If you have any questions please get in touch with your child's form tutor or Head of House in the first instance.

May I wish all of you a very happy and successful term.

God Bless

Miss Burrows
