Letter from Miss Burrows - 27th January 2021

Heavenly Father, Creator of all life, I offer you thanks For every gift and grace. To do Your will, You give me all I need; To You I devote My heart, my soul, my being.

Dear Parents/Carers and Pupils,

As we move through another week of the global pandemic I hope that everyone is safe, well and supporting each other with prayer, hope and kindness.

At present there are no significant updates or announcements for you and I continue to monitor the news and media for anything that may be of importance.

The consultation over how grades will be awarded for Y11 and Y13 pupils is due to close at the end of this week and we will then wait for a decision to be made by OFQUAL.

Following notification from the DfE yesterday, I can confirm that school will be closed to all pupils during the February half-term break and there will be no provision for any children during that week. I think the pupils and staff will enjoy a break from remote learning and I am sure many of you as parents and carers will also enjoy a rest from home schooling!

At present we have not been told if pupils are returning after February half-term and I will inform you as soon as we know what is happening.

God Bless

Miss Burrows
