Message from Miss Burrows

“The first end I propose in our daily work is to do the will of God; secondly, to do it in the manner he wills it,; and thirdly to do it because it is His will.”

Elizabeth Ann Seton

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been wonderful to welcome your children back to school after the Christmas holidays. They have returned to school in a really positive manner and have settled back into their learning very quickly.

The pandemic continues to bring challenges for all of us but we are committed to keep things running as normally as possible in school. Thank you for ensuring that your child has a face covering for school and for encouraging twice weekly testing to keep our community as safe as possible. I will continue to keep you updated if there are any further changes to the guidance from the government.

At Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School our mission is to help our pupils achieve excellent academic success and receive the best possible character education to support them in being successful and compassionate citizens. This half-term we are teaching our pupils about the importance of perseverance and how important it is to keep trying your best even when things are difficult. Given how much we have all experienced since March 2020, this message is even more significant now.

Thank you for all of your ongoing support and understanding as we continue to live through these challenging times and may your 2022 be a year of joy, light and hope.

God Bless

Miss Burrows
