Message from Miss Burrows - 19th April 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope everyone has enjoyed the Easter break. We are excited to welcome all pupils back into school today and getting them settled into their school routines.

Just before the Easter holidays we received information from the government regarding a change in guidance regarding lateral flow tests when pupils receive a positive test result from a home testing kit. If your child tests positive, you should inform the school as normal, but then you should book a PCR test for your child as well. If the PCR test result is negative, your child will be able to return to school. More information will be sent out this week in my start of term letter.

It is my expectation that all pupils are in full school uniform, including school P.E. kit. After lockdown we allowed some flexibility as we were aware of some difficulties in obtaining items of school uniform. However, there has now been sufficient time for these issues to be resolved and all pupils should be fully compliant. Smart uniform is indicative of a smart school and we are very proud of our high standards. Thank you for your support in ensuring your child is ready for learning by wearing correct school uniform.

We wish all of our pupils a very happy and successful summer term.

God Bless

Miss Burrows
