This week we are expecting guidance from the government regarding arrangements for September. It is our greatest hope that all students can return to school and that we can get back to some sense of 'normality' after a very long period of disruption.
I know that many of you have questions about September and as soon as we have the guidance from the government we will be able to plan accordingly. I will write to you before the end of this term with confirmation of the arrangements for each year group, along with any additional information you may need. I am sorry I am not able to confirm anything just yet, but as I am sure you can appreciate, we must wait until we have the guidance we need to ensure that our plans are as safe as possible.
In the meantime we are continuing our work with Y10 and Y12 students who have been attending school for the last few weeks. It has been wonderful to see students in classrooms again and I want to thank all of the students who have attended for their full co-operation with the safety measures we have put in place.
Covid-19 continues to have an impact on communities all over the world and this week we have been reminded that our country is not at the end of this crisis yet. I have close friends who work in schools in Leicester and they are devastated by the situation there. Let's remember all who have been or are currently being impacted by this virus in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless
Miss Burrows
