School will close at 3.10 today and will not open again until further notice. We will update the school website when we have further information about students returning to school but this is unlikely to happen soon.
The government has released its list of key workers and I have provided a link to this in the attached letter. Please click on the link below.
An announcement on Y11 and Y13 students is expected later today and as soon as I have the information I will update the school website. At present I do not know anymore than what the government has published.
National school closures are unprecedented and the government would not have taken this drastic measure unless absolutely necessary. The recommendation is to keep your children at home to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and I must emphasise the importance of this advice.
From next week I will update the website on a weekly rather than a daily basis unless I have any additional information.
