Transition Work

Each year we ask our Year 11 and Year 12 students to complete Transition Work, designed by our A Level and BTEC teachers to help prepare students for the demands of Level 3 courses.

We understand that studying in the Sixth Form is a significant step up from GCSE and so want help to prepare you for this transition and ensure that you are fully aware of the demands and rigour of the subjects that you have selected.

Year 11 and Year 12 students participate in Taster Sessions where they are given a realistic ‘feel’ for the subject.  Here you set work for competition in September.  All work is marked and returned and PLC’s completed.
