Welcome to the admissions area of our website. Here you will find the information and documents you need for our admissions process.
"We believe that parents choose to send their children here because they share our high expectations and insistence on the highest standards in every aspect of school life including uniform, discipline, attitudes to learning and respect. We are proud of our diverse intake and our students show great tolerance and support for each other, irrespective of their differences"
Miss H Burrows
An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the normal admission round and the child will be admitted where there are places available.
Applications should be made to the school by contacting Miss M Salas, Admissions Office, Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School, Victoria Road, Acocks Green, Birmingham, B27 7XY and all families approaching the school will be given an application form.
Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out for the normal round of admissions, will be applied. If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list as set out in the Admissions Arrangements Policy.
Parents will be advised of the outcome of their application in writing within 10 school days of its receipt, and, where the Board of Director’s decision is to refuse their child a place, have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel.
