Destinations

At Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School we are proud of the paths our pupils and students take after they complete their studies with us. Our careers programme supports learners from Year 7 through to our Sixth Form, helping them to explore opportunities, make informed choices and prepare for life beyond school.

Many of our Year 11 pupils continue in education, joining our Sixth Form, local further education colleges or other post-16 courses. A number of our Sixth Form students progress to higher education, with a large number gaining places at universities across the UK to study a wide range of subjects, while others go into apprenticeships, training or employment that match their ambitions and talents.

Celebrating destinations is a key part of our careers work because it shows the real-life outcomes of the guidance, experiences and support our students receive. By tracking and sharing where young people go next, we can continue to improve our programme and help every student to achieve their goals and shine brightly as they take the next step in their journey.
